SHAPERS II & SHAPERS II (extended)
SHAPERS II & SHAPERS II (extended) is the second iteration of a salon style exhibition of Charleston based ceramic sculpture artists curated by local artist and educator Cristina Victor. The show includes two concurrent exhibition locations (Park Circle Gallery and the Saul Alexander Gallery) with 30 artists showcasing recent works representing various approaches to ceramic sculpture ranging from figurative, architectural, representational, abstract and vessels that tightrope function and play. This maximalist install is an opportunity to recognize an incredibly dynamic and skilled community of makers and educators currently working with clay in the Low Country.
